Emily is an environmental, social and governance (ESG) consultant to the mining sector. She focuses on value protection and creation through identifying and defining environmental and social risks and opportunities, and developing appropriate strategies to address these. Her understanding of material issues is framed by legislation and compliance, industry standards, lender requirements and investor interests. She works in multi-disciplinary teams on assets across a wide range of commodities and jurisdictions, including Europe, Russia and Central Asia, and has managed numerous environmental and social impact assessments for large mining developments.
