Stewart Assay and Environmental Laboratories LLC laboratory was opened in 1997. The laboratory is located at: Kyrgyz Republic, Kara-Balta, #2, Kalinin Str.
Type of activity: provision of chemical analysis services.
Main directions:
- Analysis of geological samples (geochemical analysis), consisting of sample preparation, Fire Assay, single-element AA analysis, multi-element analysis with ICP-OES and mass spectrometry with inductively coupled plasma (ICP-MS), Sulfur and Carbon analysis
- Analysis of environmental samples, namely natural and waste water, soil and stream sediments for inorganic components.
- Technological tests of geological samples, including flotation, gravity concentration, cyanide leaching in bottles, percolation cyanide leaching in columns.
The main customers of the laboratory are exploration and mining companies engaged in exploration and mining of non-ferrous and precious metals such as gold, silver, platinum, copper, molybdenum and others.
The geography of customers covers mainly CIS countries (Russia, Kazakhstan) and Central Asia (Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Mongolia, Afghanistan).
Monitoring and ensuring the quality of analyzes
The laboratory is accredited for compliance with the international standard ISO 17025-2017 by UKAS, UK, and at the Kyrgyz Center of Accreditation. The scope of accreditation includes most of the methods used.
The laboratory regularly participates in various interlaboratory testings, both international (CANMET, Geostats, LGC), and internal, conducted within the Kyrgyz Republic.
The laboratory has a wide library of certified reference materials from well-known manufacturing companies (Geostats, CANMET, Rocklabs, OREAS, CDN, Sero, IGGE, etc.).
